A Tampa real estate agent who specializes in luxury properties has signed a potentially lucrative sponsorship deal with the Tampa Bay Rays.
Jennifer Zales, an agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, is now the official real estate agent of the Rays. The sponsorship gives Zales direct access to the Rays front office and players to market her listings — which include a $13.9 million home on Bayshore Boulevard (see photos here).
“Florida residency makes a lot of sense for athletes who either play for one of our teams, or who enjoy our region during spring training camps,” Zales said in a statement.
Zales consistently ranks in the top 1 percent of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. The sponsorship also includes the opportunity to network with the team’s other corporate partners of the Rays organization, and she will have a marketing presence in the stadium and premium seating areas.
The Tampa Bay Lightning also have an official real estate agent, the Duncan Duo of RE/MAX Dynamic.
“Jennifer’s expertise in our region’s burgeoning real estate market can be an asset to our fans and stakeholders, and we are glad to be a platform for that connection,” Jeff Cogen, Rays’ chief business officer, said in a statement.
